Jackson County, Minnesota
I have set up camp here in Jackson County which is, according to my atlas, just a short drive away from Hawkeye Point, the highest point in Iowa at 1670 feet. This also happens to be my favorite campsite of the trip so far. I left Oshkosh this morning sick to death of the campground city. When I came here, I expected to find it filled with bikes on th way to Sturgis. Instead, I discovered it was clean, had great facilities, beautiful views and was nearly empty. Perfect. On
another note, I passed two important milestones today. I finished the first 2000 miles of the trip and finally crossed the Mississippi River. Stay tuned for Sturgis!
